Jack celebrates his victory with Jefferson County Democrats and other candidates in the ballroom at the Executive West Hotel, 830 Phillips Lane.

Jack and supporters walk with Shively Mayor Jim Jenkins. They will meet at Shively City Hall, 3920 Dixie Highway.

Jack and supporters will eat lunch at Sue's Diner, 2605 Rockford Lane.

12:45pm
Jack, supporters and State Rep. Larry Clark will begin a walk at the BBT Bank at 7803 Preston Highway, near the Outer Loop.

Jack and supporters will walk upper Bardstown Road.

Jack and supporters will greet voters at McMahon Plaza (3909 Breckinridge at Taylorsville Road) and walk in the J-Town and Hurstbourne areas.

Jack campaigns with Rep. Harold Ford, Jr. Ford, a Congressman from Memphis, TN, is considered, at 32, one of the brightest rising stars in American politics, and was keynote speaker at the 2000 Democratic National Convention.

10:15am West End Democratic HQ, Broadway & 24th
Harold and Jack speak to the troops at the West End Democratic Headquarters, along with State Representative Gerald Neal. Energized, the volunteers begin canvassing the neighborhoods with fliers and doorknockers.

11:00am West End Kroger's
Harold, Jack, and Rep. Neal shake hands in front of the Kroger's on Broadway. Rep. Ford speaks with CJ reporter Al Cross, explaining how Jack will be bring federal dollars to Louisville and faith-based organizations - without voting against Louisville on policy initiatives, like Anne.

1:00pm West End
Jack works the West End barbershops and beauty salons, telling voters that on Tuesday, more than ever, every vote counts.

At the Teamsters Hall, Jack mingles with the once-and-future Mayor Jerry Abramson, Circuit Court Clerk Tony Miller, Commonwealth Attorney Dave Stengel, and others.

"Come home on Election Day," Jack tells the audience -- after reciting the horrific voting record of Anne Northup -- which draws cheers and, from a two-year old in the back of the room, echoes of "Come home!"

In yet another sign of the energy and momentum Jack is gaining, the room erupts as Jack concludes, giving him a standing ovation.

7:00pm NAACP Dinner
Jack meets with key African-American leaders of Jefferson County and Kentucky at the NAACP dinner -- where he stresses how turn out in the city's West End is the key to Election Day.

8:30pm East Louisville
It may be 3 days from Election Day, but Jack still takes care of constituent #1-- his mother -- joining the rest of his family in surprising her for her 55th birthday.

Jack speaks before 50 well-wishers at the famous Molly Malone's Irish pub. The pub's patrons raise a pint of Guiness, toasting the success of the Irish Catholic Conway. And with that, Day 2 of Jack's March to Victory wraps up.

Jack's Pack is turning into Conway's Army: Over 225 volunteers flooded Conway HQ today to canvass, distributing 15,000 fliers, and logging over 600 miles on foot -- in addition to the 20 miles Jack walked yesterday and today! Smells like Team Conway spirit!

8:05am Dixie & Rockford
Thumbs up, horns honking, and cheers from passing motorisrts as Jack's Pack starts down Dixie.

8:50am McDonald's on Dixie
Jack stops in for a cup of coffee with State Representative Joanie Jenkins. In the parking lot, he greets a fellow alum from St. Xavier's.

10:15am The Diner on Dixie
Jack chats with construction workers - one of whom was a coach for the Little League World Champion Valley Sports All Stars - who cheer Jack on to victory.

10:45am Hardees on Dixie
Jack chats with the "Hardee Girls" - a group of retired ladies who meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. They ask Jack about protecting Social Security, and prescription drugs. State Rep Charlie Miller joins Jack and the March to Victory continues south down Dixie.

12:00 Mark's Feed Store on Dixie
To complete the first 7 miles of the March to Victory, Jack, Rep. Miller, and others stop for BBQ with a restaurant full of Future Farmers of America, the South Dixie Fire & Rescue Squad, and other BBQ lovers.

March to Victory - Leg 2: Bardstown Road. Jack's Pack meets at Campaign HQ on Taylorsville Road, and starts up Bardstown Road

3:45pm Heine Brothers Coffee
Jack and Pack stop in for a cup of coffee and to shake some hands.

5:00pm Bardstown & Baxter
At the home of supporters Dana and Gabe Souda, Jack meets the press, to discuss President Bush's visit to Louisville, and how it signals that Rep. Northup must be in trouble.

5:45pm Bardstown & Windsor Lane
Jack responds to President Bush's speech, pledging support for the President's War on Terrorism, but pointing out that his visit signals that Anne Northup must be deeply worried -- why else would she call in the Commander-in-Chief for a political visit?

6:00pm Bardstown & Windsor Lane
Cheers ring out from Jack's Pack as WHAS-TV poll shows Jack dead even with Anne -- 49-48% -- a 5 point surge from the last poll.

Jack is surging, with 4 days to go -- by Election Day, he will pass Anne and then some!
